Good grief, no. Your bot will be at its absolute best if trained and taught by you and your team. That way your voice, style, and knowledge will permeate through its responses to its very identity. Gecko’s AI chatbot and live chat modules are incredibly easy to use. The feedback we’ve had on every implementation we’ve done is that using it is fun! That’s seldom an adjective associated with implementations. If you have the technical ability to be able to switch on your laptop and check your emails, you’ll be more than skilled enough to build a bot – honestly 😃
Did calculators replace accountants…? It’s the same principle here. Bots help automate the slow, laborious tasks, saving you time and allowing you to focus on what matters.
It’s not often that something comes along that demonstrably improves not only the student experience (a sub-1-second response to a question asked at 11 PM on a Friday, anyone?) but also saves you and your team an incredible amount of time. It might sound too good to be true, but it isn’t. Bots are here to stay. They take very little time to set up and the rewards they yield are instantaneous. The real question is when do you want to start benefiting from them?
