UKAT was founded in 2015 and is the first allied group of NACADA (the Global Community for Academic Advising) to be established outside North America.
UKAT’s first conference, with over 100 attendees, was held at Southampton Solent University in 2015, and the second took place at Leeds Trinity University in April 2017. This year’s 5th Annual Conference is going to be held in the magnificent Technology and Innovation Centre at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
The association believes that effective advising and personal tutoring is essential for student success, and aims to bring together those engaged in this vital area of student support.
